Kick start your career with a summer internship at BGF
Are you ambitious, career focused and looking to develop experience within the financial services sector or in an investment fund? Do you have an interest in entrepreneurship and how businesses grow? If yes, then we’d love you to apply for our internship programme. BGF invests in companies in their growth stage, and is the UK and Ireland’s most active and dynamic investor of equity capital in growing companies, backing entrepreneurs and innovators. Our model is underpinned by a unique combination of scale, long-term capital, minority investments, breadth of coverage, and a streamlined investment process to create a real impact.
Our 8 week summer internship programme will run from 24 June 2024 – 16 August 2024, taking penultimate and final year university students (Undergraduates or Masters) across both our investor and infrastructure teams. You will be working directly with our investor teams, gaining exposure to different stages of the deal cycle and our broader teams through networking and informational sessions. The internship will include tailored training programmes to support you in your role and enhance your understanding of BGF and our industry. This will be supplemented by projects, including a mock investment committee and value-add research project as well as a mentoring programme giving you broad exposure to our teams and offices.

We are hiring interns into our Growth teams in Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Manchester, Reading, and also into our Early Stage team in London. However, as part of your application you will be asked whether you are open to any other teams / locations (note – we ask that you only provide locations where you have accommodation arrangements / ties).
