Private Capital Advisory Internship – New York

At Campbell Lutyens, we offer individuals the opportunity to work in a successful, well regarded, highly professional and forward-thinking environment. This is the underlying principle of our internship program. We are seeking current sophomores (graduating class of 2026) to join our team for a paid summer internship in New York City. The internship will last for approximately 10 weeks during the summer of 2025. Further, interns will be considered for potential full-time roles on the Campbell Lutyens Graduate Program after graduation. Candidates will have three options – please read through all options before deciding which team you are most interested in.

Company Background:

Campbell Lutyens specializes in providing fund placement, secondary advisory and GP capital advisory services to private equity, private infrastructure, and private debt fund managers. The business was founded in 1988, is fully independent and is entirely owned by our employees.

We support our clients across:

  • Fund placement – raising capital globally from limited partners and providing specialist advice to general partners.
  • Secondary advisory – advising both limited partners and general partners on providing liquidity solutions through the sale or restructuring of portfolios of fund or direct investments.
  • GP capital advisory – advising general partners on how to grow and diversify their platforms with a wide range of financing and transaction solutions.

The team comprises around 170 international executives and advisors with global and broad-ranging expertise in the private equity, private credit, and private infrastructure sectors. The firm has offices in London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Charlotte, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with management responsibility and operations centered in London.

Campbell Lutyens is consistently recognized as one of the leading fund placement and secondaries advisors globally. We are pleased to offer internships in both teams – both opportunities are slightly different, and we encourage potential applicants to read through the descriptions below ahead of potential interviews.
